The level of spin finish for polyester fibre varies from0.1--0.2
Nominal finish is .005%
Coarser fibre and p/v blends with higher speed needs more spin finish

 CARDING
Good carding is always essential for good quality yarn..

4)To delivery of continuous even sliver

 On an average fibre goes around the cylinder 4 to 8 times before transferred to doffer

 The wire angle is great importance for man made fibre
Usually coarser fibre greater angle 80 degree vice versa
70 degree is recommended for higher and finer fibre
Finer the fibre higher the PPSI.
   Licker- in with 1.2--1.4 recommended for man made fibre
The difference of the wire angle of cylinder and doffer is kept around 10- 15 degree.for better transfer coefficient..
   Ratio of surface speed of cylinder and licker-in is kept around 2.5-3.0 to avoid loading.
    

 Neps/gram for polyester is 1 for viscose -2
